Chrome Stacking Chairs Re-Covered in Cream Vinyl

A full set of chrome-frame stacking chairs taken from worn black vinyl to cream. The frames are bent tubular steel on a sled base — no separate back legs, so the chairs stack and slide without a leg tip catching the floor — and they were sound, so nothing was replaced: the seat pads and back panels were stripped and re-covered, and the same chrome went back into the room. The seat is a shaped pad with a rolled front edge rather than a flat cushion, which is the part that shows wear first on hall seating and the part that has to be pulled clean or the crease sits under your knee. Photographed before and after in the venue itself, the whole set finished to one colour.
